ruby在1.8的情况下仍然有不错的表现
http://highscalability.com/friends-sale-architecture-300-million-page-view-month-facebook-ror-appfacebook的ror应用表现的很不错，操作系统是用centos，感觉比较可信的两种操作系统是centos和debian，用来作服务器都是非常优秀的。
debian的apt要比yum好很多。
memcached已经成了标配了，LVM也是管理大型存储系统的标配。
